Booking Terms & Conditions

BOOKING DETAILS

  • The price quoted per person is based on the current year’s supplier rates, Carr Golf reserves the right to amend the per person rate should the suppliers in question increase their rates for the year ahead.
  • All services booked on your behalf by Carr Golf are done so as a booking agent. By confirming and paying a deposit to Carr Golf you are agreeing to Carr Golf terms and conditions not those of the individual service providers.

DEPOSIT PAYMENT

  • To secure your Golf Package a Non – Refundable / Non – Transferable deposit of 30% of the total value of the booking (unless otherwise stated and agreed with your Sales Executive) is required.
  • Suppliers are not fully confirmed until payment has been received in full to Carr Golf by all members of the group travelling.

BALANCE PAYMENT

  • Final Full Payment is due no later than 14 weeks prior to the first day of the booked programme by all members of the group travelling
  • If the booking is made within 12 weeks of the first day of the booked programme (or 16 Weeks if the booking is 8 or more rooms) the full cost (100%) must be paid to Carr Golf by an authorised credit card or wire transfer.

PAYMENT TERMS

  • Payments will only be accepted in the currency that the package is quoted in (i.e.: Euro or Sterling).
  • If paying by wire, all transaction and exchange fees are borne of the client and not of Carr Golf.

FULL GROUP CANCELLATION

  • Cancellation of reservations made by you the participant must be made in writing by email to the Sales or Operations Executive managing your booking.
  • Cancellations are subject to the following terms and conditions and are applicable from the time we receive notification from the relevant party/parties as to their intention not to travel.

1-7 Rooms 

  • Up to 14 weeks before the first day of the booked programme 30% of the tour cost per person to include the handling fee & liquidated damages will be due.
  • Less than 14 weeks before the first day of the booked programme, 100% the tour cost per person to include the handling fee & liquidated damages due.

8 Rooms or More 

  • Up to 16 weeks before the first day of the booked programme 30% of the tour cost per person to include the handling fee & liquidated damages will be due.
  • Less than 16 weeks before the first day of the booked programme, 100% the tour cost per person to include the handling fee & liquidated damages will be due.

PARTIAL GROUP CANCELLATION

  • Cancellation of reservations made by you the participant must be made in writing by email to the Sales or Operations Executive managing your booking.
  • Cancellations are subject to the following terms and conditions and are applicable from the time we receive notification from the relevant party/parties as to their intention to travel.
  • Should the group or an individual member of the group not take part in an element of the planned programme no refunds will apply (i.e. choose not to play golf due to poor weather conditions despite course being open for play, green fee will not be refunded / tee time missed due to flight delay – refunds will not be given (efforts will be made to secure an alternative tee time depending on availability).
  • Should the number of participants within a group reduce (Partial Cancellation of the group) up to 14 weeks before the first day of the booked programme, 30% of the tour cost for that person to include the handling fee plus any liquidated damages will be due, unless the participant is replaced into the group by another individual.
  • Should the number of participants within a group reduce (Partial Cancellation of the group), less than 14 weeks before the first day of the booked programme, 100% of the tour cost for that person to include the handling fee plus any liquidated damages due, unless the participant is replaced into the group by another individual.
  • Should the number of participants within the group reduce and they are not replaced, the cost per person of the remaining participants may increase due to the transportation costs being redistributed amongst the smaller number of guests travelling.

CANCELLATION & RESPONSIBILITY BY CARR GOLF

  • Carr Golf will take reasonable steps to fulfil its obligations in respect of any booking, in accordance with the details set out in the contract.
  • Individual participants acknowledge that Carr Golf Travel acts only as the agent for the actual suppliers of transportation and all other travel-related and golf services and accommodations.
  • Carr Golf Travel assumes no responsibility for, and the participant hereby releases Carr Golf from, any claim, cause of action, loss, expense, injury or damage the participant may incur relating to the failure by any third party (such as an airline, hotel, transportation service or golf course) to perform its obligation to provide goods, accommodations or services; the negligence or wilful misconduct of any third party in connection with the performance of its obligation to provide goods, accommodations or services; or any act of God, civil disturbance, conflict, strike, theft, governmental action or any other event or action not within the control of Carr Golf. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and wellbeing of the passengers, or changes as a result of unexpected conflicts not indicated in our itinerary.
  • Carr Golf reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure if there has been a significant change to the original booking.
  • Carr Golf reserves the right to cancel any individuals’ participation in a tour, or any part thereof.
  • There will be no refunds for any absence from the tour once it commences, that is for such things as missed golf, sightseeing or any other activities in the tour.
  • Carr Golf is not responsible for personal injury, accident, or illness, or for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings.

INSURANCE

  • We strongly advise that each person take out adequate travel insurance at the time of booking. This is essential to cover fees lost in the event of cancellation as well as medical care and baggage protection. HANDICAP REQUIREMENTS

  • Some golf courses (i.e. St Andrews Old Course, Muirfield, Sunningdale etc.) will require golfers to meet a minimum handicap. Clients may be required to show a valid Handicap Certificate in line with the Golf Course Policy. Carr Golf does not have or cannot accept responsibility if golfers do not meet the required handicap criteria.
  • Upon payment of a deposit to secure the itinerary, the Group Leader agrees to provide all those, who are named as passengers on the booking, with accurate and full information regarding the travel arrangements booked, including any changes made to those arrangements by Carr Golf or the Group Leader and confirms that all those named passengers, including any that may be added at a later date, agree to be named on the booking and agree to be bound by these booking conditions.
