Set in the Wakatipu Basin near Arrowtown, Millbrook’s Remarkables Course is a modern Greg Turner design that completes the resort’s 36-hole championship offering with water, bunkering and constant mountain presence.
Opened in 2010, the Remarkables Course at Millbrook Resort adds a distinct championship dimension to one of New Zealand’s best-known golf stays. Designed by Greg Turner, it complements the Coronet Course to create a 36-hole venue with genuine variety in the Wakatipu Basin. The layout moves through an alpine valley near Arrowtown, where wide playing corridors are framed by rugged peaks rather than dense trees. Water features and strategic bunkering give the course its structure, asking for thoughtful placement without losing the sense of space that defines the property.
At 7,325 yards and playing to a par of 72, it is a modern resort test with enough scale for low-handicap players, yet remains playable within a holiday itinerary. The mountain setting is ever-present, but the course’s identity comes from its measured design, tournament-ready presentation and its role within Millbrook’s broader championship offering.
