Opened in 1968, Real Club de Golf Las Brisas is one of Marbella Golf Valley’s established private clubs, pairing a Robert Trent Jones Sr. layout with water hazards, tight fairways and an unusually diverse planting scheme.
Real Club de Golf Las Brisas opened in 1968 and remains one of the defining private clubs in Marbella Golf Valley. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course is a measured parkland test where positioning matters as much as length. Water hazards influence play throughout, while tight fairways place a premium on shape from the tee and discipline into the greens.Â
What sets Las Brisas apart is its botanical character, with varied vegetation giving the course a distinct look and rhythm from hole to hole. At 6,545 yards and playing to a par of 72, it asks for control rather than force, rewarding golfers who manage angles well. The club has hosted the Spanish Open, adding tournament pedigree to its standing on the Costa del Sol. Access is limited, which reinforces its private atmosphere and longstanding reputation within Marbella’s established golf scene.
