BUTLERS TOWN HOUSE

Butlers Town House
Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, Co.Dublin, Ireland

Description:
Standing in Dublin's Victorian Quarter, the Butler Town House is as close as one can get to an oasis of country tranquility near the heart of cosmopolitan Dublin. Opening as a guesthouse as recently as March 1997, the property has been fully restored to reflect its former glory, while the pervading atmosphere is that of an old country house. However old style the ambience though, the Butler Town House is equipped with every modern amenity to ensure the utmost comfort of its guests. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and are a real feature of the guesthouse, while the four-poster beds perfectly reflect the property's Victorian past. Handmade pillows, 100% Irish woolen blankets, air conditioning and satellite television make each guestroom a pleasure to stay in.

The common areas are also beautifully appointed with deep sofas and grandfather chairs ensuring that the drawing room provides a welcome respite from your city adventures. Guests may sample a selection of fine Irish whiskeys from the small cocktail bar in the library, while afternoon tea and morning coffee are served on the terrace during summer months. The dining facilities have been purposely restricted at the Butler Town House in recognition that guests mostly like to dine out and sample some of the fine local restaurants. Breakfast however is a specialty. Served is the wonderfully airy Conservatory, breakfast includes an array of dishes including smoked salmon, eggs benedict, French toast, freshly baked breads and of course the full Irish breakfast.
